INTRO — POWER FLOWS WHERE GOODS FLOW

Throughout history, power has followed a simple rule:

Control trade, and wealth follows.
Control wealth, and power follows.

Empires do not rise because of ideology, morality, or even military genius alone.
They rise because they sit astride the routes that move goods, people, and information.

When trade routes shift, power shifts with them.

This pattern repeats again and again — from ancient caravans to container ships.
